(Purpose)

Article 1 These regulations stipulate the membership fees in accordance with Article 7 of the Articles of Incorporation of the Japanese Pharmacological Society.

(Membership Fee for Regular Members Excluding Academic Council Members)

Article 2 The annual membership fee for regular members excluding academic council members shall be JPY9,000.

2. The annual membership fee for graduate students shall be JPY6,000.

3. The annual membership fee for undergraduate students shall be JPY3,000.

(Membership Fee for Academic Council Members)

Article 3 The annual membership fee for academic council members shall be JPY15,000.

(Membership Fee for Supporting Members)

Article 4 Supporting members shall contribute a minimum of one unit (JPY30,000 per year) as the membership fee.

(Membership Fee for Senior Members)

Article 5 The annual membership fee for senior members who are also regular members, as specified in Article 2, Paragraph 1, shall be JPY6,000.

2. The annual membership fee for Academic Council Members who are also senior members shall be JPY10,000.

Supplementary Provision These regulations shall come into effect on October 4, 1994, and shall apply from the year 1995.

Supplementary Provision These regulations shall come into effect on March 27, 1995.

Supplementary Provision These regulations shall come into effect on March 23, 2000.

Supplementary Provision These regulations shall come into effect on March 24, 2003, and Article 3, Paragraph 2 shall apply from the year 2003.

Supplementary Provision 1. These regulations shall come into effect on November 30, 2013, and shall apply from the year 2015.

2. At the time of application of these regulations, the former Article 3, Paragraph 2 shall be deleted.

Supplementary Provision 1. Notwithstanding Article 2 of these regulations, the annual membership fee for members with foreign nationality residing abroad shall be JPY6,000. However, the annual membership fee for those who submit proof of student status shall be JPY3,000.

2. These regulations shall come into effect on December 13, 2014, and shall apply from the year 2015.

Detailed Rules for the Operation of Membership Fee Regulations (Established on December 12, 1999)

1. Those applying for the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 2 or Paragraph 3 must submit either a document signed by their supervising Academic Council Member or a copy of their student ID when paying the membership fee.

2. Those applying for the provisions of Article 5 must submit the prescribed application form to the board of directors in the year prior to the first year of eligibility for the senior membership fee and obtain approval. The application will only be accepted if all of the following conditions are met:

(1) Those who are 65 years of age or older as of March 31 of the year of membership fee payment.

(2) Those who are not employed in a full-time position at the time of application submission, or who are expected to retire from all full-time positions by March 31 of the first year of eligibility.

(3) Those who have fully paid all membership fees up to the year of application submission.

Supplementary Provision These detailed rules shall come into effect on December 12, 1999.
